
Angry Calf at Home Workout feat. Nicole Hall
We are all spending a lot more time at home than we are used to and with the Covid-19 outbreak forcing the closure of our favourite gyms & workout spots, we are going to have to adapt to make sure we stay fit and healthy during this time of unprecedented change.
To help you stay on track, we are putting together a series of at home workouts that have been developed by some of our brilliant followers, most of whom are elite athletes or personal trainers. These workouts can be done with minimal equipment but are sure to give you a great challenge and hopefully inspire you to continue your fitness journey from the comfort of home!
Today's workout is bought to us by Nicole Hall. Nicole is a Personal Trainer from QLD who runs Nicole Hall Fitness (@_nicolehall). Nicole is a WBFF Bikini Pro who promotes Fitness, Health & Confidence with her clients. This workout is sure to get those glutes firing and help keep the lower body and core in shape!
The workout is completed as a pyramid, which means you complete 7 rounds of the workout with varying sets per round as per below:
Round 1: 10 reps
Round 2: 15 reps
Round 3: 20 reps
Round 4: 25 reps
Round 5: 20 reps
Round 6: 15 reps
Round 7: 10 reps
There are 7 movements to be completed each Round, as follows:
1. Kickbacks
2. Fire Hydrants
3. Alternating Reverse Lunges
4. Squat Pulses
5. Side Clams
6. Glutei Bridges
7. Bridge Knee Pulses
All 7 movements can be done with absolutely no equipment at all, however for an extra challenge, try using Ankle Weights & Angry Calf Booty Bands to really accelerate the burn!
